Fall 2010 technical t-shirt graphics preview - part I

As you can imagine, we are busy working on our 2011 cut and sew products. But we didn't want to wait too long to put some stuff out, so we will be launching a line of technical t-shirts in October.

Since there is so much stuff already available that essentially consists of a garment and a branded logo, we figured we'd take a left turn into a more art/graphic approach. Personally, my favorite t-shirts are the ones I randomly find while I'm traveling and/or not necessarily "shopping". I've got a great "Havana, Cuba" shirt I picked up in Key West a few years ago. I've got a "Runners High" shirt from a running store I was walking by a few towns away from where I live. When I saw the tee in the window, I knew I had to have it. And I'd give almost anything to get my hands on one of those 1970's style color gradient t-shirts with a sunset and palm tree graphic that says "Hawaii '78" or something like that. Love those.

By making a "left turn", we quickly realized that there (somewhat ironically) are so many directions we could go in. Over the last week, we've come up with about 15 designs, and we'll post a bunch of them over the next few days. We'd love to know what you think, so don't be shy.

As you will see, the tee's will come in an assortment of colors and sleeve lengths. Some of the graphics will be specific to men or women, while some graphics will be universal.

The garments themselves will be constructed from a high quality technical polyester wicking fabric. And they will fit awesome.

So here are the first 2 (click the image to make larger):

"Buddha" women's technical tee. This style will include an Endurance Athlete Project logo printed on the center back.

"Endurance Revolution" men's technical tee.

We look forward to hearing from you guys. And please tell your other endurance sport friends, we'd love their opinions too.

  1. I really like the men's shirt - very bold! The women's shirt is cool and interesting, but I'd like it better with a v-neck.

  2. Very nice!!! I love the men's shirt. The graphics really stand out and the women's buddha isn't bad either.

  3. I like both! Are you considering a tech-tank (I can't run in sleeves unless it is is pretty cold outside...I like free shoulders :))?

  4. i'm a bit of a sucker for squares, I liked the mens tee. but a bit more revolution in the graphs would make it magic, (I'm thinking on a red star a la "che" guevara... but totally out of place)

  5. These look great!!
(I don't know whether it's a possibility, but I've always adored it when the logo was on the hem line of the shirt - it's discreet but still visible, and not smack in the middle of the shirt, thus avoiding the "walking billboard" feel of a lot of shirts. Just my 0.02$!)

  6. I really like it guys. Is that the colour it will be coming in? Also I don't mind the round neck so long as it is not a tight fit, V necks always work well as do tank tops. I absolutely love the buddha.

  7. Women's shirt= very cool! A v-neck would make it much, much cooler. I won't buy the other kind. Cheers!

  8. I prefer the men's graphic to the women's graphic for these. I personally don't care for the graphic on the women's shirt. But that is just a personal thing. I would hope that the men's would come in a different color...it is quite dark and that means hot to me in the Florida sun. I would think for women a v-neck or a scoop neck. Also like the idea of a tank.

  9. I like the graphics too! While V-necks are nice, I actually don't mind how it is now. Nice work guys!

  10. Love the idea of a long sleeve tech tee in pink. There aren't enough of those. I don't care about v-neck or not. I'm not a fan of the burgandy on pink, though. Perhaps blue or black print instead. Like the logo on the back of it though. The pink is still for me a "buy it if price was right." Really like the men's tee.

  11. I like them both. And I think I have to agree with the majority on the v-neck comment. Color is great on the women's too.

  12. I love the men's tee. The colours and cut of the ladies' tee are great but I'm not terribly fond of the buddha. I look forward to seeing what other designs you have.

  13. Also (I know I commented before) I would love to see the mens Design in a womens fit. I really like the men's design :)

  14. I like them both and I like the v-neck idea and tank idea as well. Please have a blue option. I am not much of a pink person.
    I like the mens too!

  15. Like both designs - I am not a pink person but do really like the design. The men's shirt rocks.

  16. I like the idea of technical gear designed to look more like a regular tee. I like both of the designs here, except that Endurance Athlete Project across the back of the men's shirt looks a little too big. Nice work!

  17. Nice work! I agree - V neck shirts are good. Dark colors are not good, at least for those like me who live in superheated areas.

    Looking forward to seeing more!!

  18. How great to see all these comments! I know that this is the whole point of EAP, so nice that everyone's getting involved. I think my wife might get the Buddha tee for Xmas, heaven knows she endures plenty with me.

  19. Love the message on the women tee!
What can you tell us about the fabric? Something made by DuPont? Coolmax?

    Cheers!

  21. I am actually in the minority as I do not like v-necks. I would much prefer a tank top or T-shirt (long or short sleeve). I really like the racer back tanks. While I like the saying on the woman's shirt, the Buddha would make it a no go for me.

  22. Really digging the men's tee. I would definitely wear that one.

  23. Look great to me!! The v-neck suggestion is a good one for females, but I'd wear regular too

  24. I love the design on the black shirt. The black tee makes it even better, everything in my kit is black or gray, except my bike jerseys.
