Fall 2010 technical t-shirt graphics preview - part II

Wow, everyone, thanks for the comments! We definitely see a trend on the women's side for v-necks. Please note that this has been "noted", along with the requests for tank tops/singlets.

We're glad that everyone seems to like the graphics. But we also realize that not everyone will like everything, so we'll try our hardest to cover as many style bases as we can.

We got a lot of comments about darker colors and heat. This is noted too. I'll be working on a new set of graphics with lighter garment styles in mind over the weekend. Also, when we get to the point where we start choosing the final designs, expect multiple color ways and/or men's and women's sizing in most cases.

Anyway, here are two more. Since these are simpler "verbage" designs, the color ways are wide open. Well, except for "I Am An Endurance Athlete" needs to stay on lighter colors so you can use the marker that'll come with it to write your name.

We see these two designs as possibilities for men's and women's. What do you think?

Please keep the input coming, it's super helpful!

  1. I really like the white one. But probably wouldn't put my name on it. I really love the statement "I am an Endurance Athlete"

  2. Ditto on Barbie's comment, I wouldn't put my name on it, but I like the motto

  3. I love the motto on the white one...not sure I'd put my name on it either. The mathlete one isn't my thing, but I'm sure it is someone's!

  4. Those are good designs too! But, like others have said, I probably wouldn't put my name on the white one either But, I like the statement!
On the black one, since you already have the EAP logo on it, what about just have the formula equal EA? Just a thought!

  5. I think the idea is that it is a fill in the blank. Like a my name is ___________ .

I like the white one also - because I don't wear black. Too damn hot.

  6. I like them both, but prefer the black one.

  7. I like the white but I wouldn't put my name on it.

I am a math geek (teach math, tutor math) so I do like the equation. However, it only applies to tri-heads, but I do realize that is your primary market.

  8. THey both rock!
I think there should be a hot pink tank option for the math one, throw peeps for an eyecatching loop and a brain teaser all at once!

During the S.F. half I noticed a guy with a highlighter green shirt and a squiggly face on the back, I made it a POINT to catch him and comment on his shirt!

  9. I agree with Aimee about the black shirt. I am more drawn to that one.
I wouldn't write my name in either.

  10. Really like the white, but again agree with most comments, probably wouldn't write my name in.

Black has real potential. I could see getting a lot of questions/comments on that one. Savvy triathletes would catch on real quick. Potential to really spread the word on your project with people's questions.

  11. Agree with most, I wouldn't put my name on the shirt but love the statments "I am an endurance athlete." As a math geek, I like the math equation, although the equation doesn't really mean anything. Maybe take out the 3(x) and division and just have the S+B+R = EAP, or use numbers from certain tri distances. Like seeing 1.2 + 56 + 13.1 = EAP or something. I'm not creative.

  12. Guess I'm not Mathlete!! Took me a sec to figure out that formula, but it's cool now that I actually get it. I'd have to agree with the poster above - maybe using race distances would be more clear? Or 1.2S + 56B + 13.1R
